Meet our Founder
Meet Shirolyn Strong, the driving force behind Strong Consultants Agency, a private consulting firm that's all about making life easier for families navigating the world of special education. Established in 2019, Strong Consultants Agency is part of the dynamic Strong Services Inc, a company spanning multiple industries.
Shirolyn wears many hats. As a married mother of three, she understands the juggle of family life firsthand. With a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Computer Technology from Dallas Baptist University, as well as a master's degree in Education and Educational Diagnostician certification from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, Shirolyn's qualifications are as diverse as her interests.
As a licensed educator and Educational Diagnostician in Texas, Shirolyn brings over a decade of experience in both education and corporate sectors to the table. Her passion lies in working with students with disabilities, where she has honed her skills in everything from managing caseloads to facilitating ARD meetings to diagnosing learning disabilities.
But Shirolyn's talents don't stop there. In her spare time, she volunteers for a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources to young dancers and promoting positivity, diversity, and inclusion in the dance community.
Driven by a desire to support small businesses post-pandemic, Shirolyn recognized a need to extend her expertise beyond education. Drawing on her own experiences navigating the complexities of IEP paperwork for her family and friends, she saw an opportunity to help others facing similar challenges.
And thus, Strong Consultants Agency was born—a beacon of support for families of children with disabilities. Whether you're struggling to decode your child's IEP or seeking guidance for their annual ARD meetings, Shirolyn is here to help.
